Our little bundles of cells...

Two years ago, Ellie and Bee were just a cluster of cells nestled into a petri dish inside an incubator downtown. Two years ago today, I got a call from their babysitter (the embryologist) to tell us we had two healthy little cell clusters growing away.

It's hard to believe that in two years, Ellie and Bee were conceived in a truly miraculous fashion, we saw two heartbearts and said goodbye to Bee. I got to grow Ellie in my tummy for nine more months until I was finally able to hold her. And then we got nine more incredible months with our girl before we had to say goodbye to her too.

It's all happened so fast. A whole lifetime in just two years. Sometimes I wonder if it was all just a dream.

I didn't know Ellie had a twin. Eden did too. We transferred two embryos as well. Our Baby B had a slower heart rate from the beginning and vanished by the 9th week.
It is hard to believe how those embroys, that were frozen, turned into beautiful babies. I just wish Ellie and Eden were still here, but I know they are together in heaven with all the other sweet angel babies.

I had no idea you had two. That makes your story that much more heartbreaking and touching. Ellie is so beautiful and I am so sorry that you lost her to our enemy, death.

hugs mama,

It does all seem a dream sometimes, doesn't it? I feel that way about Meredith's brief life. Thinking of your Ellie & Bee.

I didn't realise your pregnancy started as twins... they are together now as your little angels above. Love to you always xoxo

That's exactly how I sometimes feel about my babies who have had short lives on earth. "Was it real? Did this happen?" I wish they both were here with you today-you deserve it.

Missing Ellie and Baby Bee right along with you Tiffany.....I wish they were here today so you could shower them with hugs and kisses. But I know they know how awesome their mama is and how much you love them. And I know you will see them again one day.

Love you girl
