Cookbook Naming Contest

We are having a hard time coming up with a name for the cookbook. So we are asking for some help!

We will be taking suggestions for the name of the cookbook:
- In the comment section of this post.
- On our Facebook fan page: Ellie's Light

We will be taking suggestions until Friday, April 22nd until noon (CST).

After we have all the entries, we will pick the top three and then have everyone vote.

To whoever comes up with the winning name: a FREE COOKBOOK

A couple things to keep in mind:
- The cookbooks will sold to raise money for Ellie's Light/ Ellie DeRoma Memorial Fund
- Each recipe includes a Simple Joy or Simple Pleasure for whoever submitted the recipe

Thank you for your help!

Remembering April 16th, 2010

Good morning Little Peanut! 6:40a.m.
This girl woke up every morning smiling!

Ellie getting to meet her Sue-Ma and Paul-Pa. I am so glad they got to meet her!!

Ellie was just starting to play with toys. I love how she is checking out her duck so intently!

That's such a wonderful idea :) Love the idea of a cookbook to raise money and in Ellie's memory... you're an amazing mum :)) I'll get my thinking cap on to try thinking up a name... and get back to you. I haven't forgotten about your letter either - will get that to you ASAP xoxo

Do you want to put the name Ellie's Light on it? How about something along the lines of
Ellie's Light
Is on in the Kitchen
Or something similiar... I'll ask my kids for more suggestions.

delightful bEllies -- and dot the i's with sunshines or lightbulbs (for the light part of Ellie's Light)

Or something yummy sounding in front then bEllies written where Ellie stands out.

Yummy bELLIES would be cute too...whimsy and kiddie :)

Another cute idea if you wanted to keep it kiddie is have some kids give their take on some of the traditional things (pancakes, macaroni)....let them tell an adult how you make it or write it then draw a pic and you could put the real recipe and the kid recipe next to each other. Just a suggestion,..personal touch :)

I have been reading your blog for a few months now and I think of you and your family often. I love seeing the pictures every day. What a light Ellie truly is to so many lives. My suggestion for your cookbook is, Yummy in the Belly With Love from Ellie:)

What about keeping it simple with Ellie's Delight?!

How about Heaven's Tea Party since you were having a tea party in the last picture you took with her. It also conjures up the image of her being her fun, girly self up in Heaven.

Or Tea Parties in Heaven sounds nice too :-)

I just found your blog and am so sorry to hear of Ellie's passing. She must be so proud of all that you are doing in her name.

I don't know much about the cookbook but here are some ideas;

Ellie's Edibles: Recipes Made with Love
Heavenly Cooking with Ellie (and Friends)
Ellie's Light Cooking: Mealtime Ideas
Ellie's Heavenly Recipes
Cooking up Joy with Ellie

P.S. Love your kids names, my son is also called Max(imilian).
