Giveaway!

I seem to be stuck in a rut the last week or so. And the last few days have seemed harder than normal. The tears come quickly and each day I can feel my anxiety rise a little bit more. I don't like being in this place- obviously. And the weather here in Minnesota is NOT helping! More snow again today!
I am definitely in need of a little pick-me-up. My Cinnabon this morning didn't quite have the desired affect and neither did a little trash TV during naptime. So, how about a give-away! I've never done one before and I'm a little excited. When I was at Kohl's the other day, I found some really cute bracelets. I got one for myself and since everything is always on sale at Kohl's (is it really a sale then??), I got a couple more thinking they would be great for a for give-aways.

Here is the bracelet I will be giving away this time:

I picked this one because of my need to remember that there are brighter days ahead! I also like that Aventurine (the stone) represents luck (it's a drawing) and friendship because I am so grateful for all the wonderful friends I have met through my blog. You gals are great!

This time, I am asking that only other Angel Mommies enter.

To enter, leave a comment telling me what helps pull you out of a funk- maybe I'll find something that works for me too! I will leave this open until Friday, April 22nd at noon (CST)

Good luck!

***Remember to submit your Cookbook name suggestion for a chance to win a free cookbook by 4.22 at noon (CST) you can do that here or on Ellie's Light Facebook Fan Page.

Remembering April 20th, 2010

I can remember that on this day, we had the windows open and it was warm enough to take off socks! I love bare baby feet!

What I wouldn't give to scoop her up right now. I would never put her down.

Hi Tiffany!

Giveways definately do something that helps make you feel better. I guess its the power of giving. I don't know. Looking at the clouds helps me it brings me peace in some weird way. Another thing that helps is having a toddler that keeps me busy.

Hope you feel better....Sending you lots of hugs!

Tiffany,
looking at this blog is pulling me out of a funk. I see your give away and think...TanaLee must be wanting me to be happy because there it is...red as can be, a bracelet give away that has what? oh a ladybug on it and her nickname was Ladybug. It has the words "Messenger of brighter days ahead". Yep. That sums it up...

Oh and being with family & friends helps to pull me out of ruts too.

Thank you Tiffany.
Hugs-
Felicia

Tiffany,
I don't have any go to thing that takes me out of a funk, sometimes a good cry (or several), other times writing on my blog, or listening to music that reminds me of Ryan. I also find reading blogs of other moms of angels to be helpful, this community is full of amazing women who remind me regularly of the hope that still exists. Hoping you find better days soon.

Tiffany, this is lovely!! I usually put all of my negative energy into River's Rally. That seems to get me out a a bad mood, mostly because it takes a lot of focus to keep up, and I know the hard work will help so many other people.

Generally, reading blogs (like yours) that help me feel like I am not alone, that someone else knows how I feel and remembers River with me helps dramatically.

The other "pick me up" is walking or sitting in River's garden, if spring EVER gets here, I will enjoy pruning, and watching the plants grow!

Thinking of you - thank you for this giveaway!!

Hi Tiffany,

What pulls me out of a funk is thinking of my beautiful daughter up in heaven where she is safe from all harm, and knowing that she is waiting for me and her daddy to join her. Flowers really help me as well, the color purple is really comforting (her favorite). I hope you are soon able to find little way to put you at ease and smile thinking about her.

I love that your giveaway is of a ladybug. Recently I have decided that ladybugs remind me of our Emily.
One thing that gets me out of my funk it to just have a good cry and then writing. The combination of these two things often work. Also going through Emily's things always makes me happy, even if it makes me cry.
I hope you are able to find somethings that work for you.

what a great giveaway!!! what usually helps me is one of two things... either I need a good cry and I must let it all out {you know the ugly, sobbing, snot running cry} or visiting her stone in the childrens memorial garden. Oh and of course blogging, letting it out that way helps as well.
Hope you are feeling better <3

Love your blog and thank you so much for all your kind words since I started blogging... it's been lovely to start sharing this journey with you. I've awarded you a Stylish Blogger and/or Versatile blogger Award :)) Follow the link below and join in the fun this Easter :) Love always xoxo

Love your giveaway but please don't enter me.... cost of shipping from US to Oz is extraordinary (my sister lives in NYC)... but going to the park with our toddler usually pulls me out of a slump :)

I found your blog! Ellie and your son are beautiful children. I know you must miss her terribly. I mailed your tag today - hope it gives you a lift.
Something that helps me is to do something for someone else. That helps me focus on other people and not my problems.
Beautiful giveaway item! xoxo
