Ellie's website!!

So it's finally up and going! The Ellie's Light website is all ready to be seen by the masses! I just love it- it's so Ellie! I still need to make some tweeks and add some information but check it out and then just keep checking back for changes!
Thank you so much Franchesca for giving us a beautiful place to celebrate our little girl and keep her light shining!

I have been reading From Under the Weeping Willow for a couple weeks now. This family has been planning a funeral for their unborn child who is supposed to be born in the next couple of days. This will be the second child this family has had to bury. Please stop by and offer your support as they prepare to say hello and goodbye to their baby.

Remembering March 8th, 2010

Ellie's first time in the bumbo seat. She wasn't really big enough yet but since she despised tummy time- this was good practice for holding up that cute little noggin of hers. Max wanted nothing- I mean nothing to do with the bumbo seat. In fact, he would arch his back until he almost flipped himself out the back. But Ellie liked the bumbo seat and loved to sit in it until her thighs didn't fit anymore :)

I have several cute pictures of Max from this day but in all the rest of them, he has a green snotty nose- so we'll just leave them out.

Elle Belle could sleep anywhere and anytime. If she was tired, she slept. But she wasn't always happy about the noise and activity around her. She would furl up her little brow just like this but she wouldn't open her eyes. She wanted us to know she was disgusted with the lack of quiet but she wasn't willing to put much energy into her complaint.

Peanut,
I miss you! I miss you so much! Every day I wonder what you would be doing and what kind of little girl you would be turning into. I have a pretty good idea but it's so hard to imagine. Today, Maxer and I drove through "Ellie's Park" after his therapy. As we near your spot, he crains his head to look at it. He knows. Max has only been to the cemetery a couple of times since the snow came but he still knows. Even if we drive by your spot from the other direction, he looks for it. I think he misses you and wonders where you are. A few weeks ago I framed a picture of you guys in the bath tub and put it on his shelf at eye level so he can look at it whenever he wants. And he does look at it. He points (in his funny Max way of pointing) at you and says "Eldie" or "Siiissy." Lately he likes to flip through your picture books. He recognizes you and likes to say your name. I think you two would be little buddies now. I imagine you would have drove him crazy but that you would have been very protective of your brother.
I love you Ellie! And I miss you so, so much!!

Tiffany, I follow several blogs on here and I was looking on the internet today and found this poem. It made me think of you and a few other mommies whose blogs I read. Praying for you!!!
I'm An Angel Now
Author Unknown
One night I cried to Jesus
As I sat beneath the tree;
I looked up into the open sky
And hoped He'd answer me.

"I'm lost dear lord...
I've traveled far but still I seem to roam;
Please light the way and lead me, Lord,
I need to get back home."

I told him of my burdens
And of the sadness in my heart;
That from his gracious love
I'd never felt so far apart.

"Why did you take my child, Lord?
I cannot understand!
No longer can I touch her face
Or hold her tiny hand."

"I'm angry, Lord... I'm missing her,
I'm drowning in my sorrow;
Please help to heal my yesterday
And face each new tomorrow."

It was then I heard her gentle voice
And felt her presence near;
How I wanted so to hold her
As I cried another tear.

She said "Mommy, I'm an angel now,
My spirit will be free;
I'm an angel now in heaven,
So please don't cry for me."

"I was chosen by our Lord above
And now I'm in His care;
Whenever you need me,
Just look inside your heart;
I promise to be there."

"No one can ever take away
Our bond with one another:
For I'll always be your precious child,
As you will always be my mother."

"So if you cannot find your way
Or the road to home seems far;
Just look up to the Heavens
And I'll be your guiding star."

She said "Mommy, I'm an angel now,
My spirit will be free;
I'm an angel now in Heaven...
There's no need to cry for me."
